Our Mission

At FinanceToolz, we believe everyone deserves access to professional-grade financial calculators, completely free, with no hidden fees or sign-ups required. Our Author

Every calculator and article on this site is written and reviewed by one named person: Alexandre Bernier, CFP®, CIM®, PFP®, a financial planner with 18 years in banking and wealth management. Those designations are independently checkable, and the author page links the registries to check them in. He also runs the Canadian and British versions of this site.

Every figure here comes from the document that sets it: an IRS revenue procedure, an SSA fact sheet, a HUD mortgagee letter, a state revenue department page. The source is linked so you can check it. Where a result depends on an assumption, the page names the assumption. Where the answer is bad news, the page says so. The full standard, including the source hierarchy, the update schedule and how corrections are handled, is set out in the editorial policy.
